Challenge #1- What would your keyboard look like?

Today's challenge is easy. If you could design a keyboard for only yourself, what would that look like?

Would you keep it old school and say that its perfect the way it is? Would you remove the entirely useless button of "scnlk" and maybe add "insrtlol" instead?

For instance, perhaps you might get rid of the extra numbers on the right side of the keyboard in favor of a design like picture to your left.

I use emoticons more than numbers and really, how repetitive is it to have the same number set inches away from each other? Who came up with that idea anyway?

No really, if someone knows the history of a keyboard, I would be interested in hearing that explanation.
